Wag! Marketing Campaign Design + Copy

I recently became a Wag! user and I noticed a few ways I could begin to improve their marketing designs. I decided to create a few key elements to help move Wag! in a fresh direction. I believe that even the strongest brands need to continue to find ways to improve the user experience, push limits and expand their thinking in order to gain and retain users.

Wag! Landing Page Design

I wanted to add in an interactive element that allowed walkers in participating cities to see their earning potential if they become a Wag! walker. The current landing pages I've seen for Wag! could be more enticing to encourage more qualified individuals to begin the process of becoming a walker. In my experience, the approach that a company such as Lyft takes estimating income beforehand is hugely enticing to someone who would want a more flexible work schedule. Wag! could definitely mimic that approach.

Social Media Posts and Ad Sets

I wanted to take a new, fresh approach to the marketing for Wag! The app allows people to sign up to become walkers and earn extra money in their free time. Similar to Uber and Lyft, you are able to accept walks in your area and create your own schedule. In order to appeal to a younger audience ( this would be a great job for a college kid) I created the "what's your side hustle?" campaign, because as everyone knows...you gotta have a side hustle.

Wag! Email Design

This email design is targeted towards finding new walkers that have not yet applied. Walkers are a pivotal part of the business and Wag! must ensure they are treating their walkers well, and maintaining numbers in order to ensure service (think: Uber for your furry friend). Incentivizing walkers, encouraging them to apply and then sharing success stories is a major part of the continued satisfaction of this company. Trusting a stranger with your animal is tough, Wag! has managed to figure out how to do it stress free!

Merchandise

Constantly creating new incentives for walkers and user is huge when you are wanting to retain customers. I created these custom tees that users and walkers can receive when their dogs hit their walking milestones. For example, 100th booking or 100th walk gets a tee: this is a small gesture, and something that can get the users excited. This can be offered as an additional revenue stream for Wag! if they were looking to add to their repertoire.
